After all the images, renderings, messages, and videos we are finally able to share with you the title and outline for our first project. Thanks to the dedicated work of our small-but-growing team, we have taken one of our largest steps to-date in being one of the best VR developers out there. So, without further ado, let’s get into the good stuff!
CubeWorks is a game designed to be fun, exciting, and entertaining. This might seem like an obvious thing to point out, but it is always at the heart of what we create. If a game’s focus isn’t on these three elements from then start, then we don’t see a point in making it. For CubeWorks, we do this by really exploring the extent of your own problem solving abilities, hand/eye coordination, and the player’s understanding of the space around them as well as what is being held in their “hands.” All of this exists in a three-dimensional world, in every aspect of your interactions.
The premise of your goal is simple: break cubes by matching them together. Achieving this goal throughout the various levels is much, much trickier. And fun. Don’t forget that this is our core objective. In fact, we’ve had testers, family, and friends come play-test CubeWorks and lose hours of time in what felt like minutes. For us, this is a great margin of success; one that we are thrilled to present to all of you.
As the coming days and weeks unfold, we will be updating you on when you can get your hands – real and virtual – on what we have been preparing for you this entire time. We’ll also be outlining more of the game mechanics and specifics in order to showcase the industry-firsts that we are bringing to your headset. Our excitement levels are high, and we can only hope to pass on that excitement to our audiences.
Well, now that we have given our game its proper introduction, we want to hear from you! Have questions, concerns, comments, or just want to say “hi?” Follow us on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter where we will be releasing even more.
All the best,
The TinMoon Studios team
